Helical worm gearboxes CB - CR
The worm gearboxes are produced from quality materials and with modern technology. Therefore these gearboxes ensure high reliability and a long period of service.
The cases of gearboxes with low power [40-50] are produced from aluminium alloy SGALSi91 UNI., cases of gearboxes wit larger power are made of grey cast-iron G20 UNI 5007.
Wormshafts are made of steel and are casehardened and ground. The thread grinding in the gear ratios carried out with Zl-Profile improves the contact between the toothed surfaces and reduces operating noise.
The worm wheel has a cast iron hub onto which a casting in GCsSn 12 UNI 7013 is fitted which is machined.
To guarantee a long life, taper roller bearings or radial ball bearings are used.
